NSCS Speedweek
|
Tyler Spath and the NorCal Performance Race team just returned home after four racing filled weeks. Racing action started back on July 20th for the beggining of NSCS Speed Week. Weather conditions cancelled the two day Fred Brownfield memorial at Grays Harbor Raceway. The first race of Speedweek was held at Southern Oregon Speedway in Medford Oregon. The night started with Tyler and the NorCal crew missing the mark in qualifying placing them behind the inversion for the heat race. Coming all the way from the 4th row Tyler manuvered his way into the 4th and final transfer spot nipping at the heals of allstar racer Shane Stewart. The main event at SOS Tyler started back in the 9th row and was making steady progress when an over heating engine forced him to pull into the pits ending his night early. The next stop for the NSCS Speed Week brought the crew a little farther north to the Cottage Grove Speedway.
